In the Community
At Brandon Pride, we strive to create safe and welcoming spaces for all. Our group of volunteers are dedicated to promoting acceptance, inclusion, and diversity in everything we do. Come join us for fun-filled events that celebrates the 2SLGBTQIA+ community and all those who support it!

For Rocky Horror's 50th Anniversary, we are doubling the Horror, with not one but 2 events! Join us at Bailey's located in Brandon University for the Rocky Horror Pre-Party, a free event to help get everyone ready for the movie over at the Evans Theatre.
Tickets for the movie are available at Smitten (cash only) in advance, and at the door on the 14th as well.
2025 Pride March

Last year, the Brandon Pride Committee encouraged the community to show up as themselves for the Pride March instead of under a banner of a business or organization. This year it will be a request that no banners of businesses, groups, organizations, clubs, etc. be present at our Pride March.
Since 2015, Brandon Pride has always held a Rally followed by a March on foot to respect the first gay pride marches in the 1970s for gay rights; rights which many 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals are still fighting for and defending to this day!
We encourage signs with empowering messages such as celebrating marriage equality, protection of trans rights and access to gender-affirming healthcare.
Showcasing why we continue the tradition of a Pride March and not a Pride Parade in Brandon.
Brandon Pride is thrilled to announce that this year's Grand Marshall to lead the Pride March is none other than
Flora Hex
Flora Hex is the Mother of Brandon's first Drag House, the House of Hex, and has helped build up the drag scene here in Brandon like never seen before. On the stage or in the classroom, Flora has been an encouraging and supportive mentor to students and those around her.
Generously volunteering hours of free time to helping with makeup, designing and creating outfits and choreography from scratch, and performing at fundraisers such as Trans Day of Visibility and Brandon Pride events throughout the year. Then as an educator, providing safe spaces where students can express themselves creatively and fostering an environment where one can feel supported to grow and excel at whatever they put their mind to.
Flora, thank you for being such a light and leader in our community!
